Sometimes its the little victories that make all the difference in your day. This event is probably two weeks old, but i was just thinking about it. I had to park on Beacon St a while back. Its resident parking from 6pm-8am. At 8am the resident spots turn into metered spots, so you have to move your car or pay the meter. I don't like parking in these spots since I usually don't leave for work until about 9. On this particular morning i was hustling to my car, so that i wouldn't get a ticket. I knew I was going to be a few minutes late, but usually you have a little window before the ticket appears. I turned the corner around 8:05. I could see the meter maid walking down the street, but I immediately knew I had won. By the time I got to my car she was still 3 or 4 cars away!
I know the city is gonna give me tickets. No matter how careful I am they'll eventually get me; but not today!

Too Much Information
I used up my last bar of soap a little over a week ago and have been using hand soap in the shower all week. Its not bad, but smells a little bit like hand soap. I also went all last week without using deoderant because my Old Spice started stinging my pits. I don't what the deal with that stuff is? I was fine with it for like 6 months and then all of a sudden... wham! Old Spice will wear you down and defeat you.
