Movin' On Up?

My coworker who represents the other half of our web department just gave her notice yesterday. Consequently, a question I may have the good fortune to answer is, "Do I want to give up my secret corner cube in order to move into her office?". The cube I have is the only destination at the end of a dead end path. Surrounded by walls with only this path leading up to the entrance, it offers almost total privacy. Still the office has a sweeet view and shouldn't really be a privacy downgrade. I think I'm gonna see if I can get in there. The next question will be how to position the computer. Facing the door, so I can see people approach, or facing the window, so I can stare out at Boston from across the Charles? I'm leaning heavily towards staring out the window right now.

Additional Reading

If you're interested in what I consider some good post election analysis from a democratic perspective read the "Boeller-ing For Omaha" post on Bryan Adams Blog (Not the singer, and he updates a lot more than me, so you might have to search for that post). Referenced in that post is a NY Times piece that I also think is good.
