Is this it?

Football is my favorite sport to watch, but I've come to a realization in the past few days; Football could never produce a moment like game 7 of the ALCS tonight. I don't even want to write about it really. You either know what I'm talking about or you don't. I'm heading off in a couple of hours to go watch the game at the same spot I watched last years ALCS. I don't know if that's bad luck or not, but it just seems like the right thing to do.

If you need a distraction while you're waiting for the game, maybe try reading this article about knowledge problems and ignorant voters. My favorite quote is actually from a Rollingstone article interviewing the creators of South Park.

In fact, they take perhaps their strongest stand yet -- firmly against P. Diddy's "Vote or Die" campaign. "I think just saying 'Vote or Die' is a serious danger to democracy," Stone says, as Parker breaks into a Cartman-esque voice for a mocking public-service message: "Hey, nineteen-year-old who doesn't know anything -- you choose."

"If you don't know what you're talking about, there's no shame in not voting," Stone says finally. "They say if you don't vote, you can't bitch. But you can bitch all you want. This is America."

Kepler

Kepler was incredible. His 3 laws and the intuitive understanding he had of gravity were so far ahead of his time! He never really understood the significance of these discoveries however. In fact, he stubornly held onto and was most proud of his wrong ideas.

I still have more to go on Gallileo and haven't even gotten to Newton yet, but I'm predicting my favorite astronomer of the Sleepwalkers will be Kepler.
