You may know and love him as TMQ (Tuesday Morning Quarterback; formerly of ESPN Page 2, currently on Nfl.com), but the man behind those epic football articles is Greg Easterbrook and he has a blog. In fact his blog is what got him in trouble with and kicked off of ESPN! Since I don't have a blog roll maybe I should just mention that this blog rules.
From Easterbrook's blog:
There are at least 50 billion galaxies--perhaps far more--and they average about 100 billion stars each. As Timothy Ferris noted in his fine book Coming of Age in the Milky Way, for God to spend just one second examining each star in a galaxy would take the divine 10,000 years. For God to spend just one second examining each of the stars in the observable universe would take 10,000 years times 50 billion.
That is a lot of stars! I don't think God has to examine them one at a time though. That is what parallel processing and multiple CPU's are for.
Best Comic Strip Ever
Luke found this Calvin and Hobbes website. It is awesome and I have now added the Comic Strip of the Day to my list of daily websites. I sure do love Calvin and Hobbes!
Poll Update
The "no don't add a blogroll's" won by a narrow margin in my last poll. I do reserve the right to make one anyway, though and may someday actually do it. Be sure to take part in this new poll as your vote will surely make a difference in the final outcome.

The Ex Presidents are Surfers
Are the creaters of homestar runner skateboarders? If you watch Teen Girl Squad #5, towards the end, there is an alien skateboarding in a half pipe. The alien does two tricks, an "indy nosebone" and a "late 360 shove it to boneless". Even though you don't do a trick "to boneless", you have to admit that those are real skateboarding tricks. I wonder if they are skateboarders or if they just play Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarder like everyone else?
