I went snowboarding at Killington last weekend. It was my first and probably only snowboarding for the season, but definitely a good time. I'm kind of surprised that even though I only ride once or twice a year, each time I go I seem to experience some noticeable improvement. This year I decided to turn around and spend some time trying to ride switch. It wasn't long before I was linking some turns together and then making it all the way down the blue trails. On my second day I decided I had improved enough at my switch riding after I took a bone jarring slam! I also rode through the park a bunch of times this weekend. I was pretty inconsistent at hitting the jumps right, but a couple times I got lucky and shot into the air. I was probably only 6" off the ground, but it felt more like 6 feet. I can see how people get hooked on that!
