New Research Path

I think I have come up with a new research path in the fight against heart disease, cancer, and probably other serious illness. It follows the theory of the "war on drugs" that not only fights the symptoms of the problem, but also attacks the source. My idea is to fund research that would develop a way to make lettuce taste like french fries. I honestly thought of this at lunch as I made myself get a salad, but what I really wanted were french fries. Now I know this is not a simple thing or someone would already be doing it, but I believe we have the technology. If you could pull it off it would be a Nobel prize for sure. Just think how much healthier people would be if lettuce tasted like french fries!
