I just helped out a customer named David Pee. In his email was a copy of the message we had sent him and that message started out, "Dear Mr. Pee". I don't know if it's just because its the end of the day on Friday or what, but that just struck me as being absolutely hilarious.

Microwave Popcorn
I'm a big fan of microwave popcorn. When I pop up a bag I'm definately planning on finishing it off because it's soo yummy. That said there is still a time and place for everything, and 5:00 pm at work is NOT the place for microwave popcorn. My stomach is going nuts right now because somebody just had to have some popcorn. Seriously... I don't know why they even put it in the vending machines.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to get invited along to the best birthday party ever, thanks to Jen. Some investment banker guy that my roommates play frisbee with was turning 40, so his wife rented the Fleet Center for a huge birthday party. Yes, the same Fleet Center that the Boston Celtics play basketball in! We got to the Fleet Center around 7 and played basketball for a couple hours with open bar and hors d'oeuvres the whole time. Now when I watch the Celtics I'll be thinking.. yeah.. I've made that shot before(wait.. did I make any shots?). We then moved upstairs to the Legends Lounge for more eating, drinking, and dancing. The food was incredible, the drinks were flowing and everyone had an awesome time. I guess when you have a party like that it makes turning 40 a little easier. Until the second day that is, then it probably hits you just as hard... I'm 40, my life is half over, ahhhhhh!!!
Living in the Limelight
I had a great weekend that was jam packed with goodness. Started out right by taking the Friday afternoon off to get ready for Rush at the Tweeter Center. Now I'm a very casual Rush fan at best, but Jim had an extra ticket so I figured I'd go check it out. We had really good seats which was nice caus I could see Neil Pert (the amazing drummer) doin his thing. They opened the show up with Tom Sawyer which is one of the few songs I know and it got the place rockin'. I must say that the Rush fans were super pumped and really into the show. It was good times and I thought Rush rocked pretty hard.
When I got back from the show Friday night I fumbled a full can of beer and it landed square on my ring toe! Ooowwwwwweeee!!!!
