Friday night I went to see Mission Impossible III with Margaret. I thought it was a fun action movie. You should certainly know what to expect when you go to see a movie like this, and it does a good job delivering. The one thing I found really interesting is that the plot is quite similar to the current season of 24. I'm not trying to claim that their is much of a plot to MI3, but... I wonder if MI3 and 24 have picked up on what will become a trendy type of bad guy?
Margaret spent most of Saturday on the Common, directing setup for the Walk for Hunger. I supported the effort by playing some pickup soccer while the tents and banners were going up. That night we went out to dinner with Margaret's parents, who came into town for the big event.
On Sunday I was at the Common by 6am for more Walk for Hunger. I was amazed at how much light there is at 5:45 am. I usually never see this hour of the day and just assumed it was dark; but in fact, it's quite bright at this time of year. I helped with some setup and then drove Margaret around the route, so she could inspect things. I took a break for a soccer game during the afternoon and then came back to help tear down that evening.
We didn't finish until 10:30 pm, and i was flat out exhausted. Margaret worked much harder than i did, starting at 3am, and not taking as many breaks. I was super impressed, babe!
