The lights are on, but you're not home

I'll admit that i'm a little addicted to Craigslist right now. I've been checking it ever since I started looking for my snowboard. Once i got the snowboard, i still needed boots and bindings. I've gotten those items, but you know... there might be something else i need like, "Spyder fenix Paintball gun w/ acs bolt installed - $200"

Why would i decide to read this listing? Seriously?? There is no legitamit reason, but I did... and my point is, it was funny. This guy writes all about his fancy paintball gun and then says, "i am asking 200 for this great package or better offer."

Everyone posts listings on Craigslist that say $xx dollars Obo. It means OR BEST OFFER. I can only imagine this guy thinks it means "Or better offer". First of all, why would anyone think "hmmm, this guy is only asking $200 but I think I'll offer $250".

I have a friend that used to think LOL meant lots of love. She started closing her emails LOL, [Her Name]. It wasn't until quite a few emails later that someone finally clued her in. Anyone else got any abbreviation mix up stories?

technology
i'm posting this message from my cell phone. I guess That's something.
