Spinning on that dizzy edge

Alma Mater. Somebody typed this word in an IM today, and it just struck me that alma mater is a funny word. From Latin Alma Mter, nourishing mother (epithet of certain goddesses).

I saw Eternal Sunshine of the blah blah blah this weekend. Very good movie. I was expecting it to be good and was not disappointed.
