Cat Mom Raises Baby Squirrels

This is an amazing squirrel story! Well... maybe not amazing, but they are albino squirrels and it is pretty cool! You can't beat stories about animals raising different offspring. I once saw a crow on TV who raised a cat. Some random people filmed a crow feeding the cat in their backyard. They eventually adopted the cat, but the crow would fly to the cats home and peck on the window until the owners let the cat out "to play". They had tons of video of the cat and the crow romping around in the yard together.

Survivor

I watched the final episode of Survivor last night. Even though I'd seen practically none of the episodes for this series I was still captivated. I can't get enough of that show. My co-worker asked this question today, "If one of the other Survivor casts had been the cast for the first episode, would the show still have been as successful?"

Good question! I think the answer is probably yes. The first cast was definately good, maybe even the best, but they've all had quite a few characters. Actually my favorites for the first 3 Survivor casts would go I, III, II. The biggest casting mistake the show ever made was losing my application. I assume they lost it because I'm sure if they had seen it I would have been on Survivor Africa. Nate... which was your favorite cast?

Big Sports Weekend

On Saturday I braved absolutely miserable conditions to go to the Redsox vs Mariners game . The game was rain delayed 2 hours and when it finally started it was COLD and RAINY. It is not supposed to be that &%(#*@#!! gross half way through May!!! It was a good game in theory since Pedro was pitching and the Sox won vs a quality team, but ugh... it was cold.

Despite the terrible weather on Sat, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful sports watching day! I went down to the new CMGI stadium for a soccer double header, US vs Holland and Revolution vs Fire. The wrong teams won, but it didn't matter that much. The new stadium is awesome and watching the games w/ fellow soccer teamates was good times!
