Luke picked up THPS3 today, so guess what I'm doin tonight! It's wierd to me how popular the game is. I wouldn't think people who have never skated would like it that much. I guess there's a universal appeal, but I think it's so much better to actually know what the tricks are and have attempted them (kind of) yourself.
Skateboarding in my mind is associated with everything that is good. Pushing down the street with friends, not a care in the world. I love the whole experience. Now that I'm an old man though and have no friends to skate with, Tony Hawk Pro Skater is the best way to relive the glory days. Thanks Tony. I'll be trickin' off everything very soon.

Sites I look at
I check out the picture of the day on Kodak.com almost every single day. Today's picture is kind of lame, but they have some pretty cool ones.

DSS
Ha..Apparently we do have a privacy policy:
M, Inc., one of the most trusted names in e-commerce and Web-based technology, respects the privacy of our customers. Any and all information collected at this site, within the M, Inc. Commerce Network Sever (CNS) and the Database Security System (DSS), is held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways not consented to...
Our commerce system was developed with security as our number one priority. M, Inc.'s DSS is designed so that there is no direct access to the commerce database – all transactions are controlled through a single entry point. In essence, the DSS is a gatekeeper that controls the flow of information between the commerce database and the end-user. This single entry point allows M, Inc. to maintain the tightest access control – eliminating (rather than closing) the backdoor.

Amped
Had a good snowboard trip to Okemo this Sat. I rode the whole day without having one major wreck! This is definately a first and I was even pushing myself to go fast and ride blacks, so it was a noteable achievement.
Once I figured out that I could make it down without crashing I imediately started thinking about riding switch or heading for the jumps. It's my old skateboard attitude that if you don't fall down you're not trying hard enough. Trouble is, if I don't push myself I get kind of bored, but if I do push myself I get really sore! At least I'm now good enough to keep up with people who know what they're doing and that's a good skill for winter in New England.
